This undated color image shows a close up of "Theseus and Ariadne" that was carved from limestone by Paul Manship Born. The setting in which this sculpture was placed can be seen in the image placed in the Library here. A black and white image showing another close up view of "Theseus and Ariadne" has also been placed here in the Library.

The caption accompanying this image reads as follows:

Donated to the New York State Parks and Recreation Department, in 1982, Manship's damaged "Theseus and Ariadne", was transferred to the Smithsonian's American Art Museum, where it is currently held in storage.
