Henry Warren Smith (US1843spouse1) and Elvira Lorrain Foster Smith (US1843) sent each other letters during the year 1826. The scans are what the eBay seller offered for review and THFFI won the bid. There were 12 letters in all. Two are between Elvira and family members about their mother's death. They were tragically lost in the mailing process. This is the best we have of these communications. It represents a loss of knowledge to the family. We place these letters in the database for what information we can draw from them and hope it will be a clue for future researchers of what is out there and may be "captured" sometime in the future. Perhaps they will be found.
