Ronald Herbert Prentice (IR1111) wrote to Richard W. Hungerford Jr. (US26) in one of his earliest communications to Richard. Richard had purchased a Peter Sherlock Australian Hungerford genealogy and Ron sent him the last one in stock per his letter. Ron also shared his thoughts on why he set up HAFS, his thoughts on the early history of Australia and the people who came over--including the Hungerford family. A very interesting letter and the beginning of a long friendship that only ended when Mr. Prentice passed away.
