This letter was received by Richard W. Hungerford Jr. (US26) from Ronald Herbert Prentice (IR1111) with great consternation as Richard hadn't received the letter Ronald references by Mary Alice Pitzl Hungerford (SH1359spouse2) yet. Richard sent a response--see his letter to Ronald dated 3 Aug 1994--explaining how Mary had not read his initial money raising letter for the Jackson Papers that was piggy-backing off of his effort to collect genealogical data and through a series of misunderstandings came to this alarming scenario. Richard's letter calmed the waters and Ronald and he went back to the business at hand--trying to forge a worldwide Hungerford genealogy network of family historians.
