John Boyd Hungerford Jr. (UNIR44) sent a real picture post card with a note written on the back to several correspondents worldwide. This fellow lived in New Zealand. The card tells the reader John was a witness to the event of the last steam engine for Union Pacific making a run over Sherman Hill - "too bad they're almost gone" he laments. The post card is marked as having been written in Cheyenne, Wyoming. John was an author of several narrow gage railroad history books. He probably was the photographer of the train photos.
