Page 5 of the 18 Apr 1894 issue of the "Watertown (NY) Weekly Re-Union" gives a thorough description of a fire suffered by Truman H. Hungerford (SH250). This article feeds into the mystery of Truman's date of death. Obituary and will information indicates he died in 1889. Family genealogist Stanley Hungerford reported his death as 1901--this article is from 1894. The THFFI researchers wonder if there was another Truman Hungerford out there--as yet undocumented.
