Dated 16 Nov 1847 in Watertown, New York, this letter is a reply to a Mr. Hiram Sibley to a letter sent demanding payment of some debt. Mr. Hungerford informs the letter writer that the entity, a partnership, he said owed him money was dissolved in September of 1846 and the remaining party, a Judge Mason, would happily pay the money if it is a legitimate claim.
