Hungerford Hoskyns (EN806) wrote a letter dated 28 Feb 1809. The letter as transcribed by THFFI states:

Mr. Ralph Shuttleworth
Rochdale Company
Manchester

Sir Hungerford Hoskyns begs to inform Mr. Shuttleworth that in consequence of his being obliged to defer for a few days his intention of being in London by the 1st of March, his payment into the hands of Phelps, Jones & Co. of 5 per cent for his Rochdale Company shares will then be protracted.

Should however anything detain Sir H. in the country beyond the 5th or 6th he will take care to send the money by that time.

Harewood Feby 28th 1809
