This is an image of Joan Blake, daughter of Dr. Joseph A. Blake and the late Mrs. Duer Blake.
The caption accompanying this photograph is as follows:
Joan Blake wasted little time fefore [sic] wedding Henry H. Harjes, in what the Times described as a; "Colorful Ceremony in Church of Heavenly Rest Unites Prominent Families." Alas, Mrs. Harjes' divorce was not long in the offing.
It is apparent that the word "fefore" is a typographical error that should be "before."
