Paul W. Hayes (IR5866) was an accomplished teenager. Gathered here in one entry are three newspaper articles about his achievements in the field of science. He won a science fair and received accolades from prestigious organizations such as NASA and the U. S. Air Force for his invention. The other two discuss his being chosen as one of six students selected from the intermountain region to present a scientific research paper at the National Symposium that was held at the University of Tennessee at Oakridge, Tennessee in 1970. One of the articles states his age which gives us an approximate birth year.
