Charlotte Holdich brought a number of watercolours to last Saturdays Family Reunion. The paintings were by Col Sir Thomas Holdich. Charlotte wanted to offer them to members of the Holdich family. Here are the two little pictures I have chosen. It’s quite special to have such a direct link to an ancestor.

This painting by Colonel Sir Thomas Hungerford Holdich KCMG KCIE CB FRGS has been donated to the Hungerford Family Foundation Inc, a United States charity devoted to building a Hungerford World Tree and providing scholarships to members. Richard W Hungerford Jr is also a member of the Holdich Family History Society. [The 4th of the photos with the mountain theme.]
