This is a one page, hand written letter dated 21 May 1975 from Susan D. Bear, former wife of Peter Barrow Hungerford. She is responding to Stanley's letter of inquiry addressed to D. L. Hungerford. She advises Stanley that D. L. Hungerford is a 6 year old girl, Devera (pronounce "Deborah" with a "V") Lane Hungerford. She mentions Peter's two brothers, Stephen and Thomas, and tells him that Devera is "the only child of any of the three." She says that there are "many Mrs. Hungerfords" because the various Hungerfords have been married numerous times, with many divorces, and mentions "Pete's divorce from his second wife," implying that she was Peter's first wife.
