This is a letter to the Hungerford Market Company (CMP75) stockholders dated 5 Feb 1845 from the Hungerford Market Office announcing a Special General Meeting of the Hungerford Market Company on 14 Feb 1845 “to consider and determine on the propriety of the Hungerford Market Company taking up their proportion (viz. 440 Eighth Shares of the vale £3. 2s. 6d. each) of the £10,000, additional Capital authorized to be raised by the Hungerford and Lambeth Suspension Foot Bridge Company, for the purpose of improving the Approach to the Southern Terminus of the said Bridge.” THFFI owns the original of this document..
