Fannie Hungerford (MD29a) writes to her brother to say--not much writing to each other this past summer & you are not sorry for it. She says she writes because it's his birthday. She adds we are "hard luck" but can be happy. She asks him--have you been going to concerts? I hear you have a new lady correspondent she teases. She also wanted to know did Fleet Cox come to our home? The letter also says _____ came here last night & said he heard Nellie W. & Josie Rust were expected--I wouldn't stay in the house with them. She tells her brother Lee gone for 4 weeks. The letter goes on like that a bit more and ends with her asking him to write some time with news about the family.
