This is a decision of the United States Supreme Court denying Marion (Trainor) Hungerford's (US10344wif) petition for writ of certiorari from the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

This litigation is discussed in an article published in The Hungerford World Tree, Third Quarter, 2016.

Marion Hungerford’s boyfriend went on an armed crime spree of seven robberies in Montana in which she participated by encouraging the robberies and providing a getaway car. Described in court papers as being “profoundly mentally disabled,” Marion refused a plea bargain, was found guilty by a jury, and was sentenced to a 159-year sentence, while her accomplice had been given a 32-year sentence. The article repeats what the court of appeals had to say about her sentence and relate how her sentence was reduced eventually.
