This document is a short hand written message dated 22 Apr 1976 from John I. Hungerford (SH1243) along with the envelope postmarked 24 Apr 1976 in which it was sent to Stanley W. Hungerford (SH1310). He enclosed a check for $12.00 for two books, one to be sent to him and one to be sent to Mrs Crary Brownell (Hala Hungerford (SH676a)) in Moodus Connecticut but to send it to the Connecticut Historical Society if she already had received a copy of the book.
