This document is a copy of a deed to Conrad Mohr from Asa Hungerford (US8583) and Mary A. Hungerford, his wife, of Lima, Allen, Ohio, for land in Independence, Cuyahoga, Ohio, for "divers good causes and considerations thereunto moving, and especially for the sum of one dollar ($1.00)." Description: part of Lot no. 1 in Tract 4 east of river, being th east part of Lot 1 in the Hungerford or Tinker Creek Tract of land, being 49.66 acres. The low price and good reason is explained in the deed: "This conveyance was made to correct a conveyance by Asa Hungerford and wife to Horace Hungerford April 24, 1846, of said premises which was executed in the presence of only one witness and is recorded in Vol 54, page 290 of Cuyahoga County Records, the title to said premises having pased to and now being in said grantee Conrad Mohr."
