This is a photo taken from the Gen. Solon Dexter Hungerford Family Photo album. A lot of the album contains people with no notes as to who they are... This is not one of them. We know because of a pencilled note that reads: "Jessaline Edith Northrup. 2 years old."
The photo was taken by J. A. Brush, Artistic Photographer, Hennepin Ave. & Sixth St., Minneapolis, Minn. On the back it artistically displays his name and also tells us "Awarded to Jas. A. Brush for Artistic Photography P.A. of A. Convention, Minneapolis, July 13th, 1888." Also: "Nagatives Preserved For Future Orders."
