This is a photo taken from the Gen. Solon Dexter Hungerford Family Photo album. A lot of the album contains people with no notes as to who they are... This is not one of them. He is believed to be Rufus Potter per the White family genealogist. On the back is written "To Harry Hungerford from Rufus P."
Harry White wrote on the back under the above-written penciled note the following:
I believe this to be Rufus Potter, the son of Stephen and Kate (White) Potter. Kate was the older sister of Sybella White who married Robb Hungerford.
