Coningsbys Hospitals
Feb 20th 1890

Dear Commander:

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you of the sudden death of John James one of the inmates of our Hospital, this morning at 11 A.M. from hert disease.  He was one that strickley conformed to all the rules of the Hospital.  I wish they were all like him, I was very sorry that I have lost him.  He leaves a widow a most respectable & clean woman.

I remain your obedient Servant
James Williams, Corporal
