A. J. Hungerford and Richard W. Hungerford Jr. took note of the numerous discrepancies in the birth date reported by various sources for Elizabeth Porter Stanley. Some genealogies had 1785 and some had 1786. The mausoleum says 1786--as does her son Orville's Hungerford genealogy. The Stanley Family genealogy had 1785 however. A. J. Hungerford reached out to the Wethersfield Historical Society's research librarian who looked at the original source and found out it WAS 1785. She also shared that it reported a baptismal date of 3 Apr 1785.
