Labelled a copy.  The handwriting is poor.  I'm not sure to whom it is addressed.  It is signed "Jack."  It is THFFI's guess that "Jack" is John Stanhope Arkwright (EN922) as he is the eldest and only son.

A collection of 1,033 letters ostensibly to and from John Hungerford Arkwright (EN912).  This letter is part of that collection.  The collection has letters from John's father John Arkwright (EN806dspouse1), Hoskyns family members, and other miscellaneous family members.

The eBay discription (item purchased 5 Nov 2023) states, in part, the following: Large letter archive from the Arkwright family of Herefordshire 1840 to 1902.

Mainly to do with John Hungerford Arkwright (1833-1905) and other family members including his father who writes the early letters from 1840.

Letters sent from Coningsby military hospital to Arkwright addressing him as Commander - early letters 1848 written by him as pupil when he was at Eton.

A large album of pasted in letters with all names of who sent them. This album is when he became Lord Lieutenant and all the letters are from various MPS, Politicians, society people congratulating him.

We (the seller) have done a count of all loose letters and the letters in the album.  There are approximately 1033 Letters and a quantity of empty envelopes.  Very interesting collection with a wealth of important signatures--all worthy of research.
