As indicated by the caption, this image shows a room full of silver service owned by the Mackays.

The caption accompanying this photograph reads as follows:

Not surprizingly [sic], the silver miner's son had masses of plate and flatware. To retard oxidation it was stored in felt-lined drawers and boxes, and on shelves behind heavy felt curtains.

Obviously, the word "surprizingly" is a typographical error that should be "surprisingly" instead.
