This document is comprised of Stanley's letter of inquiry addressed to A. L. Hungerford, at the bottom of which the writer says "Sorry - I'm adopted son - Both parents dead and have little knowledge of family background. A. L. Hungerford." There is no date on the response but the envelope in which it was enclosed is postmarked 12 May 1975.
