This is a hand written letter dated 7 June 1975 from Robert Hungerford (reference Robert Harry Hungerford SH5736 in the Surnames database) to Stanley W. Hungerford. It is written on the reverse side of Stanley's letter of inquiry.
Robert mentions his father, Harry Royal Hungerford (reference SH3101 in the Surnames database), who Robert says was "adopted ... as a baby ... (I believe his name was Taylor)." He also mentions his mother, Flora Fauser (Flora E. Fauser; reference SH3101wife in the Surnames database).
He speaks of John Hungerford (Robert's grandfather John Frederick Alister Hungerford; reference SH760 in the Surnames database) and writes "Married Anne Ziegler?"
Others mentioned in the letter are: his brother, John Albert Hungerford, his wife Alice Mansworth, a son Robert H. Hungerford, Jr., a daughter, Janet Leigh (Hungerford) Coates and two cousins whose mother was "Aunt Kitty Hart:" Jeannette (Hart) Evans and Alice (Hart) Hard.
